Thomas is the Director of the Legal Department and Senior Partner helping domestic and global clients with their trademarks and other intellectual property rights. He is passionate about IPR and works hard to raise awareness of the importance of IPR.
His work ranges from developing IP strategies and establishing IP rights, to maintaining and enforcing these rights by dispute resolution and litigation. Thomas has extensive experience helping rights owners fight counterfeiters and enjoys a close co-operation with the Norwegian Customs.
Thomas is valued by his clients for his effective and solution-oriented work and clear-cut advice. He assists clients such as Orkla with the handling of one of Norway’s biggest trademark portfolios, as well as being responsible for a client list including global companies such as Amazon, Philip Morris, Harley-Davidson, Salesforce, Major League Baseball and Hard Rock Café.
Thomas is an experienced litigator having conducted cases on all Norwegian court levels, including the Supreme Court. He is also a regular participant at trademark conferences such as INTA and PTMG and has been a speaker at national and international trademark conferences.
Thomas has been ranked as an IP Star every year since 2018.
