IP Consultant, Patent Attorney, US patent attorney
Patrick works in our patent department as trainee European Patent Attorney. He holds a B. Sc. in Biology from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a J.D. with honors and an additional certificate in intellectual property law from Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Patrick certified as a Patent Attorney for the USPTO in 2014 while practicing law in Chicago. His cases there often focused on pharmaceutical and medical device disputes, but also involved various other scientific fields along with broader legal rights and business concerns. He enjoys learning about new technologies and finding ways to communicate complicated subjects to diverse audiences.
Patrick joined Acapo in January 2024, and is based at Acapo’s office in Bergen. He will be sitting the EQE exams to qualify as a European Patent Attorney.
