She graduated with a law degree from the University of Oslo in the autumn of 2017, where she focused on electives such as patent and trademark law, copyright, law and economics, and EU competition law. Her master’s thesis dealt with novelty-destroying trials in patent law, with a strong focus on implicit confidentiality agreements.

Marie has work experience from the Norwegian Industrial Property Office, where she handled national trademark applications. She also worked as a police prosecutor with extended prosecutorial authority at the Oslo Police District.
