Areas of Expertise
Kristina provides strategic advice regarding intellectual property and privacy law (GDPR). Her field of practice covers drafting of IP strategies and governing documents for data protection, establishment and enforcement of trademark, design and patent rights, questions regarding IP-related contracts, marketing law and litigation. She works with both Norwegian and foreign clients.
Kristina has been an IP professional since 1996; first as a legal advisor in the Trademark Department of the Norwegian Industrial Property Office (1996 – 2000), then as lawyer and Department Head of other firms (2000 – 2014).
She has a law degree from the University of Oslo (1994), where her special subject was EU-law from Université de Poitiers in France. Furthermore, she has a degree in French from the University of Oslo (1995). Kristina was admitted to the bar in 2005.
Kristina is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association, the Norwegian Association of Norwegian IP-advisors (FONIP), FICPI and AIPPI. Since 2023 she is member of MARQUES’ Designs Team, and was member of the organization’s Anti-counterfeiting and Parallel Trade Team from 2013 to 2019. During the period 2012 – 2016 she was a board member of FONIP, and from 2004 to 2011 a board member of Norwegian Anti-counterfeit Group (NACG).
