Hilde is an Attorney-at-law and the Managing Partner of Acapo. She is responsible for the overall management and business development of the firm and our four offices in Bergen, Oslo, Trondheim and Fredrikstad, together with enhancing the services provided for our clients and associates. Hilde is highly engaged in promoting the strategic importance of IP to Norwegian companies and for them to recognise IP as an essential asset to help achieve their missions and goals.
Hilde joined Acapo in 2000 and became a partner in 2003. In December 2009 she was elected by the board to become Managing Partner. Hilde has many years of experience in the IP field. This includes prosecution of trademark and design applications, advisory services and litigation in all aspects relating to Intellectual Property Rights. Before joining Acapo she worked for the Norwegian Government in a variety of legal areas.
Hilde has a Master’s degree of law from the University of Bergen, Norway (1994). She also holds degrees in European market law and European Community law.
Hilde is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association (Den norske advokatforening, DNA), Forening for Norske IP rådgivere (FONIP), International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI) and The International Trademark Association (INTA).
