Areas of Expertise
Børge provides consultancy services with respect to protection of intellectual property and infringement assessment. Having a background in electronic and mechanical engineering, and having worked for fifteen years as a scientist and project manager at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment and for ten years at Alcatel mainly as manager for technical sales support, he works with technologies relating to mechanical and civil engineering, offshore, communication technology.
He has been working with IP since he joined Acapo in 2004. With his combined industry, science and patent attorney background Børge has a keen interest in IP strategy from an industry perspective, highly appreciating the contributing effect of IP on industrial development.
Børge has a M. Sc.in Electronic Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology of Trondheim in Norway specializing in technical cybernetics in 1981.
Børge’s working languages are Norwegian and English. He also has experience with French from the École Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace of Toulouse in France, and some experience with German.
