IP HoldCo AS (the holding company of Acapo Onsagers AS – “Acapo Onsagers”), Norway’s largest intellectual property advisory firm, has acquired Bergenstråhle Group AB (“Bergenstråhle”), one of Sweden’s leading full-service IP firms and a pioneer in business-oriented Intellectual Asset Management, combining IP, business strategy and financial perspectives to turn innovation into measurable business value. The transaction was completed on 14 August 2026.
Bergenstråhle is the second Swedish company to join the group, following the combination with brand, domain and trademark specialist Brimondo AB (“Brimondo”) earlier this year. Together, the acquisitions mark a decisive step in the ambition to build the leading Intellectual Asset Management platform in the Nordic region, combining complementary capabilities to create greater value for clients across the innovation lifecycle.
