Petter von Ubisch

Petter has a M.Sc. in petroleum engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He specialized within drilling technology and with a special focus on managed pressure drilling (MPD).
Petter has previously worked as a drilling engineer in Schlumberger. He has worked in the field both offshore and onshore in Italy, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and Norway, and he has hands-on experience from all phases of well construction, including drilling, completion and well testing. He also has experience from coiled tubing well interventions.

More recently, Petter was employed at the Norwegian Industrial Property Office where he examined patents mainly within the field of petroleum. That involved downhole technology for drilling, completion and production, as well as subsea systems, rig equipment and hydrate mitigation technology. He also has some experience with green technology such as hydrogen, offshore wind and CCS. Petter has an interest for the oil and energy sector and thrives in dynamic environments which require close cooperation and communication.

Petter has worked at Onsagers since March 2022.
